Talking about paying "$50,000 for a kiss"... I heard the rumour a few times during the 90s that a certain of the top supermodels of the day were actually available for hire as call girls... Like really high class call girls charging several $100,000s for a night. I can well believe it too.
I think it's probably a good thing she died young and before the good parts started drying up. Even Elizabeth Taylor stopped working in her 50s (then again, she didn't exactly need the money..!)
Doesn't she look fresh as a daisy. She certainly didn't look 36, and that would have been her age in the 2nd from top. If I remember rightly that shoot was the very last one she did in her life. There was an article about it in the Sunday papers years ago and she'd scratched her face out with pins and marker pen. Such a shame, as she was SOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL...
